Un messaggio dalla Presidente AICLU

Date:
25 April 2022

Gentili Socie e Soci AICLU,
Carmen Argondizzo

Leadership meetup: 26 April @ 17:00-18:00
(Specifically for Language Centre managers)
This Leadership meetup is dedicated to an exchange on Language Centres’ support offered to Ukrainian refugee students and staff and/or to refugees of the community.
Please join us if you are interested in sharing information and your experience about this support, its format, size and challenges.
You can send us information before the event until 25 April, which we can then compile in a document and make accessible at and after the meeting.

LLHE webinar: 4 May
Based on a very successful webinar in 2021, we are again hosting a special webinar on 4 May 2022 from 16:00-18:00 CET dedicated to our journal, Language Learning in Higher Education, during which we will have short interviews with some of the authors whose articles appear in Issue 11.1 (2021). The authors are from Ireland, Great Britain, the Philippines, Germany and France, and the article topics range from the autonomy of language centres and university internationalisation to English for Academic Purposes and oral academic presentations of international students. The full programme is available here.

We are also thrilled to be joined by the managing editor of Mouton De Gruyter, who will share some thoughts about the mission and tasks in the field of Linguistics.

The webinar will be via Zoom, and the link will be sent to website subscribers the week before the webinar. Free access to the journal is possible via the member area.
